What is the cheapest NBN plan? I only need 12/1 or 25/5.

I am at the end of a Tangerine promo offer so can't use that. I also already tried Future BB and it was crap.

Should also mention I am not eligible for Flip NBN promo prices because I have already been a customer with them.

Are you really that desperate a pov?

SpinTel has has the same deal as Tangerine with the same six month limit.
Good luck finding another one when that runs out.

I am not a pov, I just like don't like paying a lot for internet when I hardly ever use streaming services.

I don't need a lot of data, but I do need a reliable and stable internet connection that you get with NBN using a wifi router.

That amaysim plan should work fine for you if Optus has
good coverage where you 'live' and 'work'. Mate of mine
uses it and the only downside compared with Telstra is
in his lift. It does drop out when he is in the lift at home.
At $30 every 28 days it is quite a bit cheaper than the
Tangerine/SpinTel NBN plans, doesn't have the 6 months
limit and has tne bonus of being only $10 for the initial
28 days.

offer and is an offer with the same 6 month limit.

Not many RSPs list the 12 Mbps plan any more, and they are still around
$60/month, pretty steep for poverty pack.

I should clarify that I had poor speeds using Future BB. This may have been due to my own equipment.

I'm on the lookout for a new cheap NBN plan, since my 6 months at
Tangerine has run out.

I can't find the above TPG plan - cheapest is $54 on their website.

Mate of mine uses Belong which costs the same,
uses the Telstra network, allows unlimited data
banking and has a vast amount of banked data.
Sounds better. My dealings with vodaphone were years ago, so maybe
"This is now" case?
In NZ they are the main carrier, seem OK over there?
The problem in my town is that vodafone bases are very
rare and even the ones they do have are fucked compare
with the optus and telstra bases. Must try the new sim
and see what the service is like now. I had the problem
very early on in the 2G days, before even 3G,

Doesnt explain why they do fine in NZ and the UK.

The problem here appears to be that they dont have
anything like enough cash flow to pay for a decent

What is the cheapest NBN plan? I only need 12/1 or 25/5.
Check WhistleOut they are used by Choice for comparisons.

I'm on the lookout for a new cheap NBN plan, since my 6 months at
Tangerine has run out.
I can't find the above TPG plan - cheapest is $54 on their website.
Some choose to use a mobile lan much cheaper than that.
Dont know if all talk and no action but Mobile provider
Use Hotspot on a recent mobile smart phone

Unlimited
mobile data
Unlimited
mobile data
$40/month
Unlimited mobile data
Unlimited mobile data at speeds up to 20Mbps.
Unlimited talk and text
Std calls, SMS and MMS to mobile/landlines incl. voicemail 13 & 18
numbers.
No lock-in contract
No exit fees or 28-day expiry. Cancel anytime.
Main downside is that it uses the Vodafone system which is the
worst
of
the 3
They were for me on Data only in Campbelltown.
Same here even with voice call services. Didn't get
an adequate signal inside my house, Optus and
Telstra are perfect. I still have an active vodafone
account because very unusually there is no
monthly charge at all, and I did get a new sim
which fits my latest phone to do a test when
my stupid sister who is on vodafone in inner
Melburg kept imessaging fine first thing in
the morning for her, but the imessages
fell back to SMS later in the day, presumably
because she was posting from somewhere
else in the house and she stupidly claimed
that her service was perfect,
Once stung, twice shy.
I don't operate like that.

Once a culture is set very hard to change it.
Doesnt explain why they do fine in NZ and the UK.
Australian shonky like pennytelall piss and wind.
More likely just the fact that the ended up last
so don't have the cash flow to pay for anything
better and because of that are stuck with
remaining last. Vodafone international clearly
isnt prepared to pour billions into the Oz market
and still end up last. Makes sense marketing wise.
Agreed

Price is going up now?
Not really, after a massive slump.
Could be a takeover if cheap enough?
The ACCC wouldnt allow it.

Think a takeover has to be announced at 10%?
Nope.

The problem here appears to be that they dont have
anything like enough cash flow to pay for a decent
set of decent performance bases in this country.

I had to get the Ombudsman to get my account canceled.

I had the problem
very early on in the 2G days, before even 3G,
Use this like to see what mobile tower is near you.

Thats how I know they have fuck all bases here.
My local Watertank on hill claims Telstra and Optus are now all bands
to 6G still a weak signal though according to my mobile APP (OPTUS)

I find mobile broadband to be too unstable for home use, when you are
using a laptop, phone and TV streaming.

I went with SpinTel NBN $54.95/month. That was the cheapest I could find.
