To speed up WIN10 try writing DISK in bottom left search bar
Will show Disk Clean Op
At top
run as administrator
Then click, it's often slow in showing dialogue box, just wait and
click OK when required.

just the usual stuff.. email, social media, youtube, web surfing, Open

with the SSD.

But presumably you close those when not using them.

What is the detail of the Win10 system ?

That's not surprising, but why don't you get that with the Win10 system
too ?

Pays to have USB drives turned off (if possible, my multiple ports
have on off buttons, get one with Au plug DC power supply)

Mines 10 USB ports each with on/off button no sold out
Temu page postage included in price. but make sure for electric DC.
you use a Au IP not VPN, or confuses the Chinese BOT which overrides
you postal address? Hate using travel adaptors.
https://t.ly/c-t7D
This is only 7 port but DC powered, look or wait for a 10 port is my
preference.

Mines 10 USB ports each with on/off button now sold out
Temu page postage included in price. but make sure for electric DC.
you use a Au IP not VPN, or confuses the Chinese BOT which overrides
you postal address? Hate using travel adaptors.

This is only 7 port but DC powered, look or wait for a 10 port is my

My Cold water eye steamer is my favorite cost $13, replaces eye drops
($20) with tap water (I add a "ear" cotton bud dip of lavender oil to
it's desertspoon reservoir of water)

The gas stove electric lighter 2 for $10, my neck fan $10, my air
antibacterial purifier $15 and so on, look more dodgy than the 20 Port
USB charger to me?

Only have cheap gadgets plugged into it though
Why I shut everything down long before bed
Wont help when it fails during the day.
it won't. no more than my fridge will I'm certain.
You have no basis for that certainty.
The shit I have plugged into it is inexpensive at best.
Still better to not kill it.

you have lost all your USB powered devices.
That is just a 20 port charging device,

Irrelevant to the circuit diagram.
No circuit diagram with it

I can see it is well made and unlikely to do harm,
You can't know that without drawing the circuit diagram.

Gives me a idea of it's EMF emission, it does go up but onlywithin a 6

Stalin has decreed that murder is a capitalist disease; there is no
murder in a communist paradise. The soviet governments job was to
shoot and kill anyone who had proof of something different

"Our" government and media decree that this "secular multiculturalism

Churches and schools are under attack by forces that seek to demonize
traditional values by conflating them with bigotry and oppression.
Progressive teachers and church leaders promote LGBT ideologies that,
left unchecked, would destroy the traditional family — the foundation
of Western civilization.

Only the Irish Leprignomes have remained aloof and their family
heritage remains pure and unconfused. Gnome watchers believe that the
reason for this stems from the unfortunate events that led to their
expulsion from the peat bogs of Ireland in the late 1700s. It is
thought that the ambitious Leprignomes encroached on the territorial
boundaries of the intellectually superior Leprechauns. The Grand
Legislature of Leprechauns banished the ringleaders of this audacious
uprising to Australia. As a parting gesture they cast such a powerful
spell on the Leprignomes that, even today, they remain too shy to
associate with other gnome species.

So its not a great idea to use a charger that can
kill it because it hasnt been designed properly.
Any charger can maybe do that,
Nope. The best designs are designed to fail safe,
never deliver more voltage than the phone needs
no matter how the charger fails. They do that with
a proper optical isolator.
How is an opto-isolator going to make a charger completely fail safe?
By ensuring that the 240V can't get on the USB lead, stupid.
Look at the Big Clive site on utube.
So the opto-isolator completely isolates the USB socket from the mains plug?

Odd, I always thought opto-isolators were for *passing signals* whilst
*blocking current* from one device to another.

Cultural Marxism aims
1. The creation of racism offenses.
2. Continual change to create confusion
3. The teaching of sex and homosexuality to children
4. The undermining of schools' and teachers' authority
5. Huge immigration and multiculturalism to destroy a countries identity.
6. The promotion of drug taking (while pretending it is bad)
7. Emptying of churches
(Only the Christian churches as the underlying basis of our society is Judaeo Christian) Other religions are to be promoted and protected.
8. An unreliable legal system with bias against victims of crime (Soft sentencing, revolving doors, more concern for the welfare of criminals than victims)
9. Creating dependency on the state or state benefits
10. Control and dumbing down of media
11. Encouraging the breakdown of the family by:
(a) Attack the authority of the father.
(b) deny the specific roles of father and mother.
(c) Wrest away from families their rights as primary educators of their children.
(d) Abolish differences in the education of boys and girls
(e) Abolish all forms of male dominance
(f) Declare women to be an 'oppressed class' and men as 'oppressors'

So its not a great idea to use a charger that can
kill it because it hasnt been designed properly.
Any charger can maybe do that,
Nope. The best designs are designed to fail safe,
never deliver more voltage than the phone needs
no matter how the charger fails. They do that with
a proper optical isolator.
How is an opto-isolator going to make a charger completely fail safe?
By ensuring that the 240V can't get on the USB lead, stupid.
Look at the Big Clive site on utube.
So the opto-isolator completely isolatesthe USB socket from the
mains plug?
With one that is designed properly, yep.
Then how does the power get from the mains to charge the USB device?
Via the opto, stupid. Look at the circuit that big clive has.

Same as any other smps but with an opto between the mains side and the USB
side

Well speed, the only question is whether you're losing your marbles or
just never knew anything about electronics.

The "Opto" cannot supply power to the USB socket because it is an
opto-ISOLATOR, ie it ISOLATES one part of a circuit from an other so
that no current can pass.

The power, as anybody with even a basic understanding of the subject
knows, is passed through the transformer. The charger rectifies the
incoming AC and powers a circuit on the primary (high voltage) side
which feeds the transformer primary with high frequency AC. The
transformer being a step down, the secondary's rectified output gives 5
volts to the output socket. The transformer, if well made, is the main
isolator between the high voltage side and the low voltage side.

A well made charger will have physical isolation between the two sides,
the dangerous ones don't. Here's your mate Clive telling us how safe
this one is because of the physical separation

You'll note that although is is safe, it doesn't have an opto-isolator,
that's because it doesn't take the regulation feedback from the the
secondary side, although, as Clive demonstrates, the regulation is just
fine.

The Apple charger takes it's feedback from the secondary, and thus needs
an isolator in the feedback loop.Theoretically this is a better way of
regulating the output voltage, but in practice it makes bugger all
difference here, it's just Apple gold plating it's stuff as usual so
they can claim a "Superior product" and charge more for it, and it gives
something for the fanbois to boast about.

USB-C, the standard that Apple has been dragged kicking and screaming
into, is different, it can supply different voltages depending on what
the load can take, and thus needs a secondary to primary connection.

Boot time into win7 reduced significantly with the SSD.
That's not surprising, but why don't you get that with the Win10

I do get that. It's just that there's more noticeable improvement in the
boot time and functionality of the win7 PC
Win 10 has faster boot time than Win 7 anyway.

When it comes to *USB chargers*, there's a lot more to them than meets
the eye.
Firstly - on the death of a woman by charger.

Thoughts on the death of Ma Ailun
According to reports, a woman in China was tragically electrocuted using
her iPhone while it was charging. This seems technically plausible to me
if she were using a cheap or counterfeit charger like I describe below.
There's 340 volts DC inside the charger, which is enough to kill. In a
cheap charger, there can be less than a millimeter separating this
voltage from the output, a fraction of the recommended safe distance.
These charger sometimes short out (picture), which could send lethal
voltage through the USB cable. If the user closes the circuit by
standing on a damp floor or touching a grounded metal surface,
electrocution is a possibility. If moisture condenses in the charger
(e.g. in a humid bathroom), shorting becomes even more likely. Genuine
Apple chargers (and other brand-name chargers) follow strict safety
regulations (teardown) so I would be surprised if this electrocution
happened with a name-brand charger. Since counterfeits look just like
real chargers, I'll wait for an expert to determine if a genuine Apple
charger was involved or not. I've read suggestions that the house wiring
might have been to blame, but since chargers are typically ungrounded I
don't see how faulty house wiring would play a role. I should point out
that since there are few details at this point, this is all speculation;
it's possible the phone and charger weren't involved at all.

The above was from the link below.

Not worried using this 20 USB port charger.
It is safe.
You have no fucking idea if its safe for the devices being charged or not.
You don't either, or you saying you pull you USB charging devices
apart to look at some micro part that can't be seen.
The device is sold in Australia twice for what I paid TEMU.
It's passed Australian electrical safety standards, just not your

I have a 10-port (with chargers) powered hub to replace those hideous
SATA plugs & sockets on the average motherboard. I wasted a lot of
time in the past with a tower computer, with those HDD slots, always
pointing the wrong way and impossible to negotiate.
I saw the light and bought a NUC computer from which all accessories
are external, even the CCTV system with a good monitor.
In fact, the new setup is faster than the old!

Given the issue, one would suspect there would need to be a systemic

Not worried using this 20 USB port charger.
It is safe.
Only used for charging the many USB charged devices I have.
Works well, it runs cool current steady

EBay, says it all.

Just looking at my iPhone chargers - they're made (assembled? in China)
by Flextronics. Like all Apple products, whilst assembly may occur in
China, very few components in those products are manufactured there. In
fact, Apple products are one of the world's most globalised - and will
be most affected when globalisation shuts down - and that process has
already begun. That is why Apple is now re-shoring, on-shoring and
friend-shoring. They're a bit late to the party but at least Tim Cooke
has *finally* woken up.

*Apple declined to comment on details, such as whether this was an

charger with the Iphone they then sold?
Given the issue, one would suspect there would need to be a systemic
problem. Since the charger in question was seemingly not examined, and
it was but one instance, it is more likely that the charger in question
was *not* an Apple unit.

My moto is not their top model but very good if you pay for a top
model it is better than an I phone, and comes with a charger.

Motorola invented the Mobile phone
On April 3, 1973, Motorola publicly demonstrated the world's first
portable cellular telephone and system. The first public calls using
Motorola DynaTAC (DYNamic Adaptive Total Area Coverage) technology
occurred in New York City.

Says it will do 5G, 4G, 3G in Australia

My problem is with mobile reception, the Moto is clear in receiving
and talking. the Moto signal strength APP, ranges from poor to fair at
best,
Telstra is worse. Neighbours company Iphone (on telstra) very poor he
often has to go outside to listen to calls.
A lot of hills and trees?

The Moto was a major improvement over the expensive Samsung, Amaysim
worked with Samsung but bad reception, the Moto perfect reception.
This Reception ability, was confirmed as amazing by my Kiwi mate in
the kiwi bush.

A windows phone (on Amaysim) was good but stropped being made.
Not compatible for the Q-code Covid entry APP into stores, hotels,
etc. So "Johnz" pointed me to a Moto, turned out good advice.

I put a SSD in my win7 PC and it made a huge difference, much more so
than the ones I put in my win10 pc's
I guess you did the Win7 installation much longer ago, so it's had
longer to bog down the way Windows always seems to after many years
of updates, accumulated registry junk from installed software, and
background processes. Since the Win10 PCs haven't got that bogged
down yet, there's less room for improvement via the SSD.

Also of course it depends on the particular SSDs and computer
hardware (particularly whether you usually have free RAM left).
